Cate is a local Canberra children’s author, published by Scholastic and Storytorch. She writes magical stories about friendship, self-belief, and hope, for junior and middle grade readers.

As well as over 25 years as a classroom teacher, Cate has delivered presentations and workshops to both adults and children with Marion (formerly ACT Writers Centre), SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) and through both actual and virtual school visits.
